When you finish crocheting your piece, what do you do when it’s still attached to the ball of yarn? The next step is called fastening off. The best part is, fastening off is super easy.
All you have to do is cut the yarn attached to the ball of yarn, leaving a few inches of yarn to weave in later. At this step, the loop is still around your hook. Pull your hook away from the piece and pull the end of the tail all the way through. Then, I tighten it a little bit with my fingers but that’s it! When you tug on your crochet piece, it will not come undone.
