How To: Chain 2 Circle Starter Method

While I prefer the magic ring method to start a circle in crochet, another way is by chaining 2 and placing the single crochet stitches into the first chain.

Here we are going to start with our slip knot and then chain 2. In the first chain that you made, crochet 6 single crochet into the same spot. You can see it start to fold up on itself, creating a small circle.
